90 years in future, where the future is nearly destroyed because most heroes were killed after Batman's death. The world is in utter chaos. Threatened by a threat far greater than Darkseid. The Purge gathered various villains including Veronica Tomlinson, to eradicate all that is good. In an effort to summon the mysterious Mephisto and steal his power for his own. Born and raised in hell (future) Eric Wayne, went back forty years in time, when the annihilation began, in hopes of gathering a large force to stop it. But he realized it was too late. Humanity has started to be wiped out by people such as Veronica. However, Eric strives to fix everything and soon, a new Era of Heroes rises!
